Do you remember when a community sale was held, often in a church hall or a school playground ? Locals would come to buy & sell items from their home or things they'd made, to raise money & to give others the chance to buy useful & desirable objects for a fair price?
Well we are bringing back the community sale. Times have moved on and so has the quality of the items people sell but the sentiment remains the same, we want local folk to get together and create an event where, whether buying or selling, community spirit is at its core!
Not only is taking part in your community sale a great way to make and save money, to recycle and reuse brilliant things, but it's also a great way to meet people who live in the area.
Unlike a traditional car boot sale there are no ghastly hours and no scrummaging. And best of all you'll finish in time to get home to your Sunday roast! So come and be part of it!
The Queens Park Community Sale is an indoor tabletop sale held on the first and third Sunday of every month. Located at Salusbury School, next to the award-winning Farmers Market, the QPC sale is at the heart of our community.
As QPCS is indoors there's no need to worry about the weather! And a table and seating are provided so it's nice and easy.
